liaison. Perform final QA/QC review of reports and correspondence.
Professional Qualifications:
Mr. Ball's work experience
spans 20+ years in the environmental/geosciences industry including management
and professional staff positions in environmental/geotechnical consultation and
state regulatory compliance. His range of project experience includes leaking
underground storage tank (UST) assessment, real estate transaction environmental
assessment, North Carolina Department of Transportation geotechnical investigation,
soil and groundwater assessment, project health and safety oversight, State of
North Carolina UST compliance regulation. Indoor air quality investigations,
and quality assurance/quality control on many construction projects. He served
as EH&S Engineer at South
Pole Antarctica, and worked the disaster in New York on 9/11.

, P.C. – Raleigh , NC Performed soil and groundwater release assessments of leaking USTs from
commercial petroleum facilities across the state of North Carolina and
South Carolina. Assessment and remediation activities included supervision
of monitoring well and soil boring installation, UST removal, soil and
groundwater sampling, air sparge and soil vapor extraction (AS/SVE) pilot
testing, remediation system design and testing, free-product abatement.
Reports submitted to regulatory agencies included Phase I/II Limited
Site Assessments (LSAs), Comprehensive Site Assessments (CSAs), Corrective
Action Plans (CAPs), UST Removal Reports, groundwater monitoring reports,
and project invoicing.
